An alleged musical arsonist in Ingersoll.
The Oxford OPP are reporting that on Saturday night a witness spotted a man with a small white dog lighting grass on fire near the parking lot at King Street East and Water Street.
While the grass was catching on fire, the man then pulled out a musical instrument that looked like a recorder and began to play a song.
When the grass did not catch on fire properly, he attempted to light it on fire again before fleeing the area.
There was also a woman spotted nearby that police would like to speak with.
Ingersoll Fire Service attended to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
The man is described as around 30-years-old, 5’8 with a thin build and short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark T-shirt with blue and white plaid shorts.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police.
