Time is running out for people to join a board that would help get a multi-use recreational facility in Simcoe.
We reported last week that Norfolk County had received zero applications to join the Recreation Facilities Advisory Board.
The County is looking for five community members with businesses expertise or previous community leadership related to capital projects or fundraisers to join the team.
Mayor Charlie Luke put forward a motion to establish this group to work alongside county staff to go through a checklist of items that could be beneficial to getting government funding for the project.
Application Forms are available at the Simcoe, Delhi, and Langton Administration buildings or you can email County Clerk Andy Grozelle for more information.
