Large-scale outdoor marijuana grow-ops might be on the horizon

For a while now, Norfolk County has been bombarded with complaints regarding the smell of marijuana.

The county has since set up bylaws and restrictions surrounding where large-scale grow-ops can be placed.

But last week, Norfolk CAO David Cribbs warned our elected officials that they might be heading into another world of trouble.

In the article, it states that anything passed will likely not affect production until next year.

Norfolk has been pioneering new groups when it comes to odor complaints and marijuana.

Health Canada gives approvals for people and business to grow marijuana on a much larger scale.

Cribbs said the staff would be monitoring the situation very closely.
