A big fire started after a farmer attempted to incinerate a bail on bean sprouts.
On Monday afternoon, firefighters were sent to Fernlea Side Road to help put out the blaze.
It all started with the previously mentioned incineration where the bean sprouts caught on fire quicker than expected.
Embers came off the fire and lit the nearby grass on fire.
The property owner attempted to put out the fire with a backhoe but the machine stalled.
The flames spread quickly which lead to the backhoe being engulfed in flames.
The blaze then moved into a barn and completely destroyed the structure.
No estimated cost of damage was released at this time.
