Armed Robbery in Caledonia

The Haldimand OPP are investigating an armed robbery in Caledonia.

It took place in the early morning hours on Sunday at the Pioneer Gas station where two men entered the kiosk demanding cash.

One of the men was brandishing an alleged gun.

The men were given cash, but the man with the gun still struck the employee in the face with a weapon.

The employee was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both suspects fled on foot on Sutherland Street West.

The first suspect is described as a non-white male, 20 to 25-years-old with a thin build and brown eyes with thick black eyebrows.

He was wearing a red bandana covering the lower part of his face as well as a dark coloured hoodie, blue jeans, red and white running shoes with red soles, and a red baseball cap with a gold sticker on the brim.

The second suspect is only described as a male between 20 to 25-years-old.
