LOCAL PROJECT LANDS BIG-TIME MONEY FROM THE AVIVA COMMUNITY FUND

They did it!

Riversyde 83 found out on Tuesday that they will be receiving $45,000 from the Aviva Community Fund.

The proposed community food hub that will take over the former LCBO store in Simcoe and this funding will help them get the building ready and equip their commercial kitchen.

Executive Member of Church Out Serving Virginia Lucas is still in disbelief.

    The community kitchen will provide meals, food skill workshops and outreach projects.
