BE SEEN AT NIGHT: OPP MESSAGE TO WALKERS, RUNNERS, AND CYCLISTS
9/12/2017 7:33:56 AM

The Norfolk OPP is pleading with the motoring public to watch out for joggers and cyclists during the evening and early morning hours.

The message comes a day after a 70-year old man suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a pick-up truck in Port Dover around 6:30 am on Monday.

Police say the 70-year old Norfolk man was not wearing a helmet.

The OPP say calls have picked up regarding walkers, runners, and cyclists not wearing any reflective clothing at night making them nearly impossible to see.
