Haldimand County has released its new Map and Tour Guide for this year, with a few new additions. There are now several specialty maps available, including the "Cruise the Coast" map, which features motorcycle friendly routes and attractions spreading from Haldimand to Windsor.

The senior class at the Lisa Naves Dance Academy is gearing up for big competition this July in New York. Dancers will be competing against some of the top academy's in North Amercia at the American Dance Awards in New York.

OPP are investigating an act of mischief at a Front Road address. Early Thursday morning, suspects proceeded to damage various aspargus fields located on the property. The damage is estimated at approximately $500.

 | CRIME ON THE DECLINE FOR THE FOURTH MONTH IN A ROW

For the four month in a row, the Norfolk OPP have been able to keep crime in the county at a bare minimum. Anything from assaults, to break and enters, to fraud investigations, they've all have seen a significant dip. Staff Sergeant Rob Scott credits a new strategy the police are using.
