TEEN MISSING IN LAKE ERIE

A 15 year old teen is still missing after going swimming in Lake Erie on the main beach in Port Burwell. The teen went swimming with friends last night around 5:30 p.m. One of the youth struggled and went under while the others were also having difficulty.

A 16 year old from Norfolk is facing numerous charges after a crash with a tractor on Concession 11, Townsend. Police were called to the area on Friday afternoon after a back ford car collided with the tractor.

OPP are looking into a break and enter on Crosier Street in Delhi. Stolen was a PlayStation 3, iPad, iPod and an iPhone charger. Police say the theft happened during the day on Thursday and the thieves were able to walk into the home because it was not locked.

Annaleise Carr plans to finish what she started. The 16-year old from Walsh, who became the youngest person to swim the longest stretch of central Lake Erie over the weekend, announced on Sunday she will complete her swim from Long Point to Port Dover by the end of the summer.

POMERANIAN DOGS REUNITED WITH OWNER

Two Pembroke residents have been charged for allegedly stealing two Pomeranian dogs. The crime took place in Brant County. Constable Larry Plummer says the investigation led police all the way back to the Valley.

$15,000 WORTH OF STEEL STOLEN FROM TOYOTETSU

Over 2,500 pounds of steel was stolen from Toyotetsu in Simcoe. According to police, the theft happened sometime between Thursday and Friday. The theft is estimated at around $15,000.

MARIJUANA GROW-OP FOUND IN CHARLOTTEVILLE

An outdoor marijuana grow-op was discovered in a farmer's field along Charlotteville Road 1. On Saturday, a someone spotted several plants growing in a section of a farmer's soybean field and called the police immediately.

ANNALEISE CARR'S SWIM CUT SHORT; STILL HUGE SUCCESS

Annaleise Carr's swim was ended earlier than hoped this morning (Sat. July 26). Due to consultation with her swim coach and swim officials, they decided to end the Lake Erie crossing at Long Point. Annaleise arrived to shore around 4:00am.

Some great news for Annaleise Carr from Environment Canada. Meteorologist Geoff Coulson tells myFM they are no longer calling for thunderstorms over night. :23 He adds waves should be slightly better than originally anticipated as well..
