The Ontario P.C party unveiled their new attack ad on Premier Kathleen Wynne during game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup final on Monday. Local MPP Toby Barrett says the party felt it was important that people understand Wynne's role in the canceling of two gas plants in Oakville and Mississauga.

Glass was shattered and front door badly damaged after an act of mischief on Windham Road 11 in Norfolk. Police say something was tossed through the front door window of the house early Sunday morning.

With the summer season almost officially underway so is the construction in Norfolk County. Over the past couple of weeks OPP have gotten a number of complaints about motorists racing through construction zones and failing to abide by the signs.

Roughly 7,500 cyclists are seriously injured every year in Canada. The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit has created their Share the Road campaign in hopes that local cyclists don't become a statistic.

MPP TOBY BARRETT INVESTIGATES LOCAL WIND TURBINE EMPLOYMENT

Our local M-P-P is looking into claims that people outside of the province are being paid to install wind-turbines in Haldimand-Norfolk. This, despite the fact the Ontario Power Generation plant in Nanticoke is set to close, on top of the nearly 1,000 steelworkers locked out at U.S. Steel.

A couple of lawnmowers and a trailer were stolen from Egger's Truck and Machine in Dunnville. According to police two men broke into the locked compound and loaded the machines onto an Egger trailer. Two industrial sized Ariens lawnmowers were then hauled away by a pickup truck.

MOTORIST CHARGED AFTER GIVING A CYCLIST A RIDE

Police say luckily no-one was hurt after a cyclist was caught holding on to the back of a moving pick-up truck. Happened Saturday along Chapel and Head Street in Simcoe. Constable Ed Sanchuk says doing a stunt like this could ultimately lead to death.
