The Canadian Tire in Simcoe is celebrating the 5th annual Jumpstart day with a BBQ and a carwash. It's all happening this Saturday as staff will also be sporting their jumpstart t-shirts and asking for a 2 dollar donation in exchange for a red ball.

The senior class at the Lisa Naves Dance Academy is gearing up for big competition this July in New York. Dancers will be competing against some of the top academy's in North Amercia at the American Dance Awards in New York.

OPP are investigating an act of mischief at a Front Road address. Early Thursday morning, suspects proceeded to damage various aspargus fields located on the property. The damage is estimated at approximately $500.

For the four month in a row, the Norfolk OPP have been able to keep crime in the county at a bare minimum. Anything from assaults, to break and enters, to fraud investigations, they've all have seen a significant dip. Staff Sergeant Rob Scott credits a new strategy the police are using.
