OPP are investigating an act of mischief at a Front Road address. Early Thursday morning, suspects proceeded to damage various aspargus fields located on the property. The damage is estimated at approximately $500.

For the four month in a row, the Norfolk OPP have been able to keep crime in the county at a bare minimum. Anything from assaults, to break and enters, to fraud investigations, they've all have seen a significant dip. Staff Sergeant Rob Scott credits a new strategy the police are using.

Students at two nearby schools will be drinking from bottled water until further notice. Water testings over the weekend at Waterford District High School and Delhi District Secondary School produced high levels of lead.

Norfolk County Fire And Rescue were called out last night around 11pm to a fire at the Delhi Golf and Country Club. The fire started in the maintenance shed where all the lawn tractors and tools are kept.

A Children's Safety Village is in the planning stages for Haldimand-Norfolk. Members of the Community and Children's Safety Village laid out their plans before the Police Service's Board on Wednesday, seeking endorsement of the $2.9 million dollar project.
