Haldimand-Norfolk MP Diane Finley is not happy with the Liberal government's decision to reduce the amount of money people can put into their Tax-Free Savings Account. Previously, people could put in as much as $10,000 into their TFSA but that number was cut almost in half to $5,500.

Police have arrested a Norfolk County man who used a counterfeit $50 American Bill at BJ's Convenience store in Simcoe. On Wednesday, police released a picture of the man to the press looking to for the public's help in identifying him. Around 8 p.m.

(UPDATE) SMOKE COMING FROM COUNTY GARAGE CAUSED BY A FAULTY FURNACE

Officials with Norfolk Fire & Rescue Services say a faulty furnace is what caused smoke to fill the air at a county garage in Simcoe. Around 11 a.m. Thursday morning, police and fire crews responded to the Norfolk County Queensway Garage after smoke was coming from the facility.

Police and firefighters are on scene at the Norfolk County Queensway Garage in Simcoe after smoke was seen coming from the building. Through investigation, Norfolk's fire prevention officer Scott Pipe tells myFM there was no fire, but smoke is present.

FIRE AT PICARD PEANUTS RESULTS IN SIGNIFICANT SMOKE DAMAGE

For the third time in less than a week, officials with Norfolk Fire & Rescue Services are reporting another fire that has taken place in the county. This time, it was at Picard Peanuts where a fire started in the shipping/storage area just before 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
